Jake was a normal kid living in the small town of Island Falls Maine. He had an older sister and two wonderful parents. His father liked football, dad jokes and ran the local hardware store. He taught Jake how to use the stock as well as took Jake on jobs to help with minor contracting work. His mother worked from home as a software engineer while his older sister wanted to be a writer. He loved the Justice League and Green Lantern comics and teasing his sister. He was about to enter his freshman year of High School and try out for the football team when his life was thrown a curve ball.

After witnessing his parent's death and living as a captor for over a year, he's had to figure out how to life his life again. Football is out of the question but he has to do something with his time.

After a lot of hard work, therapy, and support: Jake becomes a mechanic who does freelance carpentry work on the side. He lives in Seattle and has a poker game every other Sunday at his small TV-less apartment. He likes video games, board games, fitness and light beers. His favorite color is pale blue.

First Impressions: Jake smells like grease, soap and cotton. His clothes are simple t-shirts, long sleeved shirts and jeans. When he is at home or working in hot weather, he is shirtless. He carries himself in a nondescript fashion that lets him blend into normal society. His voice is rough but sweet like a piece of wood smoothed and fuzzed by fine sandpaper.

2015

09/02 » Airy run's away from home in order to protect her friends and family. Unbeknownst to her at the time, she used her power to make it so that Jake, his parents and the town forgot she ever existed. For nearly two months, Jacob lived as if he never had a sister.
11/09 » Jacob comes face to face with a killer. He walks into the kitchen of his home after a scuffle and watches as his parents are killed and torn limb from limb. There is another body there, that of a boy his age, and a shadow. He freezes in place when his eyes meet the shadow's gaze and a harsh voice speaks into his head. 'stay quiet' Jacob then watched the body, his look-a-like, be ripped apart and the house be staged for a break in. Jacob was then taken.
11/10 » Jake's memories are returned to him when he is able to see his sister again. She's passed out and locked in a prison. A voice whispers in Jacob's ear. 'She made you forget. She stole your memories. She abandoned you... your parents abandoned you.'
11/11 » Jake's brain washing begins. He spends his days with Darren and Amadeus. Amadeus begins to use Jake as a source of blood, willingly, and gives the twelve-year-old everything that he wants. Jake finds escapes, highs, endorphins and after a week considers Amadeus to be his father and protector.
12/14 » He drives Airy to the ley-line located in northern New York state and uses his blood to begin the ceremony that will break the power of the ley-line. The cave is attacked by the Hidden, interrupting their plan. Amadeus leaves with Jake and heads back to their 'home'.

2016

02/14 » Valentine's day... Amadeus takes Jake out on a hunt. He loses his virginity but feels strange and admits his uncertainty to Amadeus. Amadeus drinks his blood and that relaxes Jake. It is at this point that Amadeus realizes that Jake is addicted to the endorphins that release when his blood is taken and uses it as a way to control Jake. He introduces Jake to many new experiences but Jake remains unsure. His mind, his faith and his emotions are at odds but Amadeus has such a tight hold over him that he convinces Jake that this is who he is.
09/22 » Airy turns 20 and Jake remembers the day as a time of celebration. He begs Amadeus for an escape from these horrible memories. It's then that Amadeus drains Jake to the point that he slips into a comma for four days, allowing him to sleep.
10/31 » Halloween... Amadeus takes Jake on another hunt and this time he allows Jake to do more and be a part of the hunt. Jake doesn't kill anyone but two teens, a male and a female, are found dead the next morning.
11/26 » American Thanksgiving, another hunt... more bloody and disturbing than the last. Amadeus has complete control over Jake.

2017

06/28 » The battle: Jake was finally allowed to fight against his sister and the Hidden who hurt him. He was 'supposed' to stay back but he doesn't listen to Amadeus. Jake grabs a crowbar and runs forward to attack his sister. Airy stops and their eyes lock as the metal sinks into her side. He feels the flesh give and watches the blood swell but Airy doesn't look like she cares; she isn't mad but... crying? Jake begins to tremble as the weight of what he's done crashes over him. He hears his sister say his name and feels himself shatter. His vision blurs as Airy falls. Another wolf comes in and grabs her. She's shouting something. Jake turns as he is grabbed from behind and pulled back towards the enemy lines. 'No' he thinks to himself, 'they will hurt me if they take me. That's what…' Jake looks up and see's that the man he has been taught to treat like a father is gone. His sister is gone. A werewolf is holding him in place, half turned… protecting him from both sides while trying to pull him to safety.
07/12 - For two weeks, Jake doesn't say much. He talks to Gus some but stays in the jail like room that has been chosen for him. He wasn't traditionally brain washed but he begins to learn about what really happened. Airy returns with Kelsey, Luther and immediately goes to see Jake. He explains what happened to Kelsey and while Jake isn't allowed out of his room alone, Airy spends a few nights with him. It is awkward but Jacob feels as if the last year and a half was a dream. This is his sister who loves him, his last living family.
08/01 - Airy convinces Jacob to speak to a psychologist. He begins taking medication and even begins to smile again. Once a week is 'family' time with him, Airy and Gus, later Kelsey joins them. Seth offers to lock away bits and pieces of Jacob's memories, which are slowly shown to him as he handles each traumatic experience.

2018

02/14 » Another battle: Luther kidnaps Airy and Jacob finally admits that Amadeus has an ability to get anyone on his side… it isn't Luther's fault. He ends up speaking for Luther but worries about his sister. With his help, they are able to plan the fight against Amadeus. Jake stays behind and waits for the group to return. He is still not allowed to walk around without being accompanied. He volunteers to have a bracelet tracker be put on him until he is trusted.
02/17 » Final Fight. Jake waits at HQ for everyone to come back.
06/24 » Toby & the Alleyways reunite. Jake feels awkward because Gus and Kelsey have become his parents but he slowly integrates into the family. He doesn't get close with any of the others but there is an uneasy understanding and adjustment.
07/17 » Chase and Kevin leave and family tension eases. Jake begins to get closer with Lyla. They play a lot of video games.
10/05 » Cas is introduced by Toby and Jacob feels awkward again.

2019-2020

» Adjustment to real life… goes to trade school to become a mechanic. Antonio helps Jake get a new identity and start a new life as 'Jim'.

2021

» Another werewolf girl comes to HQ but doesn't stay. She grabs Cat and leaves. Jacob didn't spend a lot of time with Cat but he's sad to see the quiet cute girl go. Some family drama happens within the Alleyways but Jake stays out of it and begins to think that he should live somewhere else.
» Airy and Nathan get engaged. Jake is happy but feels more on the outside of things. There is still a weekly 'family' night but Airy becomes busier. She is a god…
» Airy begins to write while Jacob finds a job as a mechanic. They begin to talk about work and Jacob reviews her stories to give her input. He loves her but there is an uneasy understand where they don't talk about the elephant in the room because neither of them want to lose the other. They love each other very much. Jake gives her the idea for the bunny chronicles, when telling her about the stuffed bunny that he used to hide under his bed.

2022

» Life continues as 'normal'.

2023

» A druid named Jonathan attacks the Headquarters in New York City. Jake is at work during the time of the attack but comes home to many of his friends dead. Sam finds him and takes him to where those who had survived had been taken. The attack happened during the day and when the main group had gone to rescue Toby.
» It is awkward.
» After everyone returns, they decide that they have to move and Jacob packs a bag to move with his sister and the entire group.
» They decide to move to Seattle where Luther had started a club. It is safer. Jacob decides that he doesn't want to live within the headquarters again and gets an apartment outside of the club. Airy and Nathan get a house at the edge of the city and Jacob's apartment is about halfway between his sister's house and the Hidden's club house.
» Life feels a little more normal now that he's living on his own but he gets lonely.
» Is still in therapy and taking medications.
» Lyla visits regularly, as does Gus and mage friends.

2024

» They find out that Charles, Luther's dad, is alive. He returns from the Fea world and causes a commotion at Headquarters. Jacob stays out of it and continues to live his life tangentially to the group. He is human and doesn't feel like he can do much to help.

2025

» There is a lot of fighting out what to do and Jake hears about what is going on with the war and the Hidden but he mostly stays out of it and offers a TV free zone for those who want a brief escape. He started a game night for the family and has a poker night with guys from work every other Sunday.

2026

» There are talks about mailing something, to find help but Jake really isn't paying attention. He is being more careful though and trying to stay safe.
» A circus comes to town and some weird introductions occur. Jake offers to let Syeira and Jagger crash at his place while the club adjusts to the new addition. It isn't safer at his place but with Jagger stabilizing Syeira, they trust that the pair can remain safe and keep an eye out for Jacob as well.
» Chuck comes to Seattle to talk to Jagger and eventually continue to work with them. Jagger, who is staying momentarily with Jake. Jake is cute and awkward… and finds himself attracted to a man. He offers Chuck the couch while they figure out what they're going to do.
» Jake has a religious and sexual identity crisis…
» Works out more.
» Airy is threatened at her house and it is suggested that Jacob leave the city or stay with the Hidden while they are sorting everything out. He doesn't want to give up the freedom he has nor does he want to leave his sister…
» Jacob isn't sure what to do.

Cornelia 'Neli' Miller

Mother; Deceased. My mom was a good mom. That's what I've been told. At times, I don't remember her the way that she has been described to me. She is a perfect idea in my memory. She was a stay at home mom who showered us with attention and freshly baked goods. She made dinner every night and hated it when I told her that I just wanted to eat McDonalds French fries. I got in trouble a lot but it was because she loved me. I wish I could remember more than that perfect image of her.

Jerry Miller

Father; Deceased. I remember my father. We spent a lot of time together. He would play catch with me: basketball, football, everything. It was because of him that I wanted to join the football team whenever I got to high school. I didn't get to high school, but I love sports. My father also taught me about home repair and carpentry. He's probably the reason I became a mechanic too. I can remember him. I wonder why that is.

Ariana 'Airy' Miller

Sister. I gave her the nickname Airy. I don't remember doing it, because it was my first word. Apparently, it was too hard to say her name. When I was little, I idolized my sister. Then I was that asshole brother who wanted to tease her and make her life hell. I have a complicated relationship with her, so much guilt, but she loves me. She loves me more than I deserve, and I just want to make it up to her.

Gus Allaway

Adopted Father. I didn't know what to feel around Gus when I first met him. Maybe it's because he had been there when I hurt the last person alive who cared about me. Airy yelled at him and he had rescued me but at the cost of being able to save Airy. That had been my fault, but he never blamed me. He gave me time and let me open up when I was ready. It started with a game of catch and when I finally broke down, he found my someone I was comfortable talking too.

Kelsey Allaway

Adopted Mother. I knew her when she had been taken. I didn't know who she was at the time. She'd been a wolf in a cage to me, but I saw what had happened to her. It's made me feel awkward around her, but she's been nothing but motherly towards me. It's awkward. For me. She's like a classic well-meaning stepmom.

Tobias 'Toby' Allaway

Adopted Brother. Toby is a good guy, a good brother. He was the first brother that I really had. When the Allaway's adopted me, they were all my family. I suddenly had three new sisters and three new brothers, but Toby was the only one who treated me like a younger brother. He taught me what he knew about football and he would tell me stories about the games before Amadeus messed up his life. We had that much in common and he was easy to talk too. I was sad that he stayed in New York, but I get it. Wolves need territory.

Chase Allaway

Adopted Brother. I don't really know Chase. He arrived with Toby and the others at the hideout in New York City but he didn't say much and he didn't stay long. He seemed upset before he left. It wasn't that unusual. Male werewolves needed territory that was their own and the whole family had been fighting their instincts for years. I have heard stories from Chase but I don't feel like I really know him.

Emma Allaway

Adopted Sister. Like Chase, Emma left shortly after being reunited with her family. It was usual for females to go looking for mates, but Emma had stayed long enough to get to know. She is a lot like her mother. She knew bites and pieces of my past, I am sure she did, but she didn't care. She treated me like a little brother and teased me when I tried to stay secluded. Before she left, she told me to listen to Gus, calling him 'dad'… like he was both of our dads. It was nice. I'll never forget what she did for me.

Kevin Allaway

Adopted Brother. I was closer to Kevin. He stuck around for a long time after Chase and Emma left. I think he was worried about Cat and Lyla. Eventually he left too but he started working at a comic book store, so I'd go to visit after he left and we have spent many late nights arguing about the Green Lantern and the Fantastic Four. I feel like we're friends more than brothers but I'm still glad he's around and I love his mate.

Lyla Allaway

Adopted Sister. Lyla is my closest friend next to Samantha. She's a Lesbian werewolf which is pretty rare consider how rare werewolves are. She's the most amazing woman I've ever met, and I look up to her a lot. She's probably the only person's opinion that I actually listen too besides Airy. She's also one of the few people out of the Allaways who I refer to as my sister without adding the word 'adopted' before it. I don't know what I'd do without having her on my case. I hope she sticks around.

Catrina 'Cat' Allaway.

Adopted Sister. Cat is pretty cute. I don't really see her as an older sister even though she's probably a few months older than me. I can't help it. She was so sheltered by Toby that there was an innocence within her that felt unreal. I felt dirty around her, stained and broken but I love her like a little sister. She's the only younger sibling I think I have. I'm glad she found a place though I do miss her from time to time but she's better off where she is. I think it's safer there. She still writes me and I write her back. Its fun having a pen pal.
